Regal Rexnord appreciates the importance of ergonomic matting for their employees, but like so many companies with unusual manufacturing floor layouts, proper fitting is a challenge. Regal Rexnord had been purchasing workstation mats in different sizes then taping them together to create the shapes needed to surround their machinery. Those hours spent prepping and repairing was time stollen from truly productive tasks. The tape and labor was just part of the equation. There was also the original purchase price of the mats.
