Creating an account has many benefits:
Sweep regularly or dry-mop the surface. These mats can be wet-mopped with mild soap or detergent. For best results, use a detergent with a pH between 4 and 9.
Use a high-pressure hose (not to exceed 500 psi) and hot water (max 160o F) to rid the mats of oils. For best results use a mild soap or detergent with a pH between 4 and 9, to clean the mats. Do not use steam (unless specifically recommended), degreasers, or caustic chemicals. Do not machine wash or mechanically scrub the mats.
When cleaning ESD mats, it is important to sweep or dry-mop the surface regularly. Also wet-mop or wipe off with mild soap or a static-control cleaning solution that will not leave a residue. This will allow the mat to continue to function efficiently.
Simply sweep the surface with a broom or vacuum. Our runners can also be wet-mopped with mild soap.
Take the mats outside and shake them to remove excess dirt and debris. If necessary, use a hose to wash them off.
DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS OR OIL-BASED CLEANERS.
Recommended Cleaning Agent for Sterile Applications:
IPA or STERIS cleaners. To maintain the functionality of the mat, the ratio of IPA or STERIS to water should not exceed 50%.
Recommended Cleaning Agent for General Applications:
Mix a 25% ammonia/75% water solution, or use window cleaner or all-purpose cleaner. Other options include non-abrasive, non-oil-based cleaners with pH levels between 4 and 8.
Autoclave - Lay flat in an autoclave. Clean for 30 minutes at 15 psi and 250o F Fahrenheit or 120o C.
Manual Cleaning - Use a mixture of hot water and a mild soap with a pH between 4 and 9 and wipe the mat down. Another option is to use a pre-moistened wipe that have very low levels of alcohol. The mat can also be wiped down using a diluted bleach solution: 1 part bleach to 100 parts water.
Use a detergent and water solution to clean any fluids or debris. FOUNDATION can be pressure washed.
Plastics and metals can be attacked by some chemicals. In such areas, check FOUNDATION monthly for degradation and or damage to tiles. The inspection frequency can be reduced if no changes or issues are found in the first 6 months.
Periodically inspect FOUNDATION platforms and replace any damaged components.
Inspect leg bolts yearly to ensure they have not loosened. Tighten as necessary.
If anchored, inspect anchor bolts to ensure that they have not loosened. Tighten or replace as necessary.
Make sure all FOUNDATION platform legs are in contact with the floor.
User accepts the responsibility of removing from service any worn out, damaged, unusable, unfit for intended use, or defective product that could be a potential safety hazard.
